Kevin is from a family of four to which he is the eldest. At an early age, he was already exposed to music, learning piano and guitar. Currently the chairman and pianist of their church in Tamsui, Taiwan.

Kevin took up Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting and right after college, he went to Taiwan to study Masters in Business Administration. He now works as Senior International Sales in a pharmaceutical company.

Anj is the eldest among the four sisters. She was born in Bacolod City, but spent most of her life in Cebu. She finished Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting with flying colors and has worked in hotel and insurance companies.

After 2 years of working, she decided to follow Kevin in Taiwan to pursue Masters in Business Administration, graduating as Top 1 in her class. Today, she is a Marketing Specialist in a gaming app company.

FRIENDS TO LOVERS

It was way back in June 2008 where they first met as block mates during their Freshmen in College. Fast forward to 2010 – a piece of paper, a dare, and an unexpected friendship – brought them closer to each other. While it was in Feb 2011 where they took the risk and from then, they built an indestructible relationship founded by the beautiful friendship they made throughout the years as classmates.

LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP

Few months after their College graduation, Kevin decided to study MBA in Taiwan, and this is how the longest 2 YEARS of their lives started. At first, it ain’t easy, but they believed in the immeasurable power of love – it can endure any circumstance and reach across any distance. As what the saying goes, “In true love, the smallest distance is too great, and the greatest distance can be bridged.“

It was when Kevin finished his Master’s Degree that Anj decided to follow him to pursue an MBA Degree also. Life was so much different abroad but way easier when together – found a HOME in each other and no more computer screens in between.

YAMVENTURES is the result of the collaboration of Kevin and Anj’s passion. Kevin – to take photographs and do website design, while ANJ- to document and write about life and experiences. From a blog site that turns into a small business venture as tour coordinators in Taiwan.

It was a romantic Saturday night in Cebu, together with their families and friends at Harold’s Roofdeck Restaurant, Kevin has finally popped up the question. Serenading Anj with Luke Graham’s Love Someone, who wouldn’t say YES to his romantic gesture.
