This year’s Amazing Guandu Flower Festival attracts a lot of locals and even foreigners with its 12-hectare flower fields that started last August 25, 2017 and will run up to February 28, 2018. This event was part of the Parks and Street Lights Office’s initiative to boost the tourism of the city as well as to promote the Summer Universaide.
For the duration of 6 months, the park will be full of colorful flowers and each month, the flower displays will be replaced according to the seasonal flowers. There are five kinds of flowers including zinnia, garden cosmos, yellow cosmos, angel flower, and sunflower that will take turns in gracing this event. Once you get there to the park, you will surely appreciate more of the beauty of the Mother Earth.

Here are some photos of ourselves here:
Good thing we brought along our tripod so we managed to get some decent couple shots. 🙂
And of course, we won’t leave this place without having some solo photos!! :p
TIP: If you want to get that perfect photo, better schedule your trip early morning so that you can have the place all by yourself. I’m sure you also don’t want to have somebody photobomb your photos.
The park is open to the public for FREE every day from 07:00 up to 19:00. You can check their Facebook Page here.
Address: No. 329, Section 6, Chengde Road, Beitou District, Taipei.
Wow! The view is so nice. How to get there using public transportation? Thanks
Hello! I’m not sure if you can get to this place by public transportation. But if yes, it will take too long since you need to transfer one bus from another. So we would suggest to go to this place by cab 🙂
Oh my!! I can’t get over those blooms. Lavender and purple are my favourite colours. I’ll plan a trip – same time next year. Lovely shots! Cheers!!

Hello! Thank you so much. We’re actually using D7000 with Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 Lens and Panasonic Lumix GF6 with 14-42mm Lens. These cameras will definitely give you a great photos and I’m sure by this time, these are already affordable since these are old models already but could still capture beautiful photos.
